A knowledge element is a piece of information related to a given scenario.
A new knowledge element can be created in Capitalize
this use-case activity of
a scenario by
clicking on the Add
button of the appropriate knowledge type.
This dialog contains several editable text fields, which allow input of element titles and descriptions using a WYSIWYG editor.
It is possible to search for an existing knowledge element in two ways.
By
clicking Open
Study button in the main bar and
selecting A knowledge in
the list to the left;
By
clicking Search for a
knowledge in
the toolbar above the list of activities.
The following search criteria are available:
By nature (Best practice\Limitation\Inconsistency\Metrics\Improvement);
By author;
By the date when the knowledge element was Created
By title;
By reference;
By the simulation context.
After the criteria have been defined, click button Display the result and the relevant studies will appear in Search result box.
